This Privacy Policy describes how Celebrate Labs Inc. (“Celebrate Labs,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, receives, stores, uses, and shares information in connection with Since We Met, our mobile application that helps users count relationship time, track milestones, personalize widgets, create reminders, and celebrate meaningful moments (the “App”), and any related website or service that links to this Privacy Policy.
We know relationship information can be personal. Since We Met is designed to be simple, private, and transparent.
In this version of Since We Met:
- You do not need a Celebrate Labs account to use the App.
- Your relationship details are stored locally on your device.
- We do not sync your relationship timeline to Celebrate Labs servers.
- We do not sell your personal information.
- We do not share your relationship names, partner name, relationship dates, milestone notes, or selected photos with advertisers.
- Photos are only used if you choose to add them.
- If future or optional features use iCloud sync or Apple-provided sharing, that data is handled through Apple’s services and your iCloud settings.
“Personal Information” means information that may be used, alone or in combination with other information, to identify an individual, such as a name, email address, device identifier, support message, or other contact information.
You may choose to enter information such as:
- Your name
- Your partner’s name
- Your relationship start date
- Relationship milestones, anniversaries, birthdays, or other important dates
- Notes about memories or milestones
- Photos you select
- Theme, widget, and personalization settings
- Reminder preferences
This information is used to provide the App’s core features, including relationship counters, timelines, widgets, reminders, shareable milestone views, and personalization.
Since We Met is local-first. Relationship details, milestones, notes, selected photos, themes, widget preferences, and reminder preferences are stored on your device.
We do not operate a Celebrate Labs account system for Since We Met in this version, and we do not sync your relationship timeline to Celebrate Labs servers.
Depending on your device settings, your App data may be included in Apple device backups or iCloud backups. Those backups are controlled by Apple and your device settings, not by Celebrate Labs.
Some versions or future features of Since We Met may allow you to sync App data across your own Apple devices using iCloud or share selected relationship information with another person using Apple-provided sharing features.
If you enable iCloud sync, some of your App data may be stored in your personal iCloud account so it can be available across your devices. This may include relationship details, milestones, notes, selected photos, themes, widget settings, and reminder preferences.
If you choose to share relationship information with another person, that person may be able to view, access, or modify the information you choose to share, depending on the sharing feature available in the App.
Celebrate Labs does not require a Celebrate Labs account for these features. When iCloud sync or Apple-provided sharing is used, the data is handled through Apple’s services and your iCloud settings. Apple’s privacy practices apply to iCloud and Apple-provided sharing features.
You can manage iCloud settings through your Apple device settings.
If you choose to add a photo, Since We Met may request access to your photo library or to selected photos.
Photos you choose are used to personalize your counter, timeline, widgets, and shareable views. We do not upload your selected relationship photos to Celebrate Labs servers in this version.
If you enable reminders, Since We Met may send local notifications for relationship milestones, anniversaries, birthdays, or other dates you choose to remember.
You can manage notification permissions in your iOS Settings.
Since We Met offers iPhone Home Screen widgets. Widgets may display relationship information such as names, initials, relationship counters, start dates, next milestones, selected themes, or selected photos.
Widget data is stored and displayed locally on your device.
The App may allow you to export or share milestone cards, counters, screenshots, or other App content through iOS sharing features.
When you choose to share something, the content is handled by the app or service you select, such as Messages, WhatsApp, Instagram, Mail, or other apps installed on your device. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.
Since We Met may offer optional in-app purchases, such as Since We Met Plus.
Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We may receive limited purchase-related information from Apple, such as product purchased, transaction status, and entitlement status. We do not receive your full payment card information.
The free version of Since We Met may display ads.
If ads are shown, advertising partners may collect certain information from your device or App usage, such as device identifiers, ad interactions, general app activity, diagnostics, or approximate location, depending on your device settings, consent choices, and the advertising network used.
We do not share your relationship names, partner name, relationship dates, milestone notes, or selected photos with advertisers.
You can manage advertising and tracking preferences through your iOS settings.
We may collect limited analytics, log files, and diagnostic information to understand how the App is used, improve features, fix bugs, and maintain performance.
This may include information such as:
- App version
- Device model
- iOS version
- General feature usage, such as onboarding completion, widget setup flows, milestone creation, paywall views, purchase events, reminder settings, or share actions
- Crash logs and performance diagnostics
- Date and time stamps of App use
We use this information to improve the App. We do not use analytics to read the personal content of your relationship timeline, notes, or selected photos.
If you contact us for support, send feedback, or ask a question, we may receive and store:
- Your email address or contact information
- The message you send
- Screenshots, files, or logs you choose to include
- Basic diagnostic information, if included in your message
We use this information to respond to you, troubleshoot issues, and improve the App.
Our websites may use cookies, log files, and similar technologies to operate the site, remember preferences, understand site activity, and improve our services.
Most browsers allow you to control cookies, including whether to accept them and how to remove them.
Since We Met may use third-party services for functions such as analytics, crash reporting, advertising, purchases, customer support, hosting, or website operation.
These third-party services may process information as described in this Privacy Policy and according to their own privacy policies.
We do not allow third-party services to use your relationship names, partner name, relationship dates, milestone notes, or selected photos for their own advertising purposes.
We may disclose Personal Information or other information if we have a good faith belief that disclosure is reasonably necessary to:
- Comply with applicable law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request
- Enforce our terms or investigate potential violations
- Detect, prevent, or address fraud, security, or technical issues
- Protect the rights, property, or safety of Celebrate Labs, our users, or the public
We may use or share anonymous or aggregated information that does not identify an individual user. For example, we may use aggregated app usage statistics to understand feature performance or improve the App.
You can control certain data and permissions through iOS settings, including:
- Notifications
- Photo access
- App tracking transparency, if applicable
- Advertising settings
- iCloud settings
- Cellular data access
- App deletion
You can also choose not to provide optional information such as photos, notes, custom milestones, or reminders.
Relationship information stored locally in the App remains on your device unless you delete it, delete the App, or reset your device.
You can delete relationship data from within the App where deletion options are available, or by deleting the App from your device. Deleting the App removes locally stored App data from your device, subject to Apple’s backup and restore behavior.

Since We Met is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect Personal Information from children under 13.
If you are based in the European Union, the above provision applies to children under 16.

The security of Personal Information is important to us. We use commercially reasonable administrative, physical, and technical safeguards to protect Personal Information submitted to us.
However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security or confidentiality.
Please be aware that while using the App you may store relationship information and other personal information on your device, even if we do not collect it. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device from unauthorized access.
If Celebrate Labs is acquired by or merged with a third party, undergoes a financing or other corporate transaction, or is subject to bankruptcy or a comparable event, we may disclose, transfer, or assign Personal Information in connection with that transaction, subject to applicable law.
